Gabi Wilson

Introducing Gabi Wilson…

At just 14 years old, Gabi Wilson has already been deemed a child prodigy. The Vallejo, CA native plays five instruments and has been writing and practicing since the age of three. On her 12th birthday, Gabi received one of the best birthday presents she could have imagined, the opportunity to perform a tribute to her idol Alicia Keys at the ASCAP awards at the Beverly Hilton, in front of Alicia and music industry giants. In addition to her ASCAP performance she has filmed movies with Nick Cannon "School Girlz" and "School Girlz II”, been featured on The "Today" show as well as "The View" where she has also wowed audiences. This straight 'A' student enjoys writing poetry, and has a published book of poetry called "Anything on Earth" that she wrote when she was seven years old. Gabi has had two of her original songs featured on Disney's "Next Big Thing". Gabi is signed to MBK/RCA Records and her album is due Fall 2012.

Gabi Wilson has been a positive role model and volunteers in her community since the age of nine. She has worked with many local and national organizations including the Boys and Girls Club and Rally for Kids with Cancer. Maintaining her straight ‘A’ student status, she also volunteers as a teacher’s aide at her school in Vallejo.

Gabi has always been happy to lend her musical gift to help other kids in need. She was part of a group that raised over one million dollars in a single night for the SickKids foundation of Toronto, Canada. She was also invited by actress Sheryl Lee Ralph to perform at DIVAS Simply Singing that has been raising money for the AIDS Healthcare Foundation and Women Alive Coalition in Los Angeles for twenty years.

She donated her time to write the theme song for an organization called HumanityforAll that built ten homes in New Orleans for victims of Hurricane Katrina.
